  • Five Myles Gallery, Brooklyn NY - partnered with CITY HARVEST; New York City’s largest food rescue organization, helping to feed the nearly 1.2 million New Yorkers who are struggling to put meals on their tables. "KIND OF BLU3" is an art-for-healing exhibition series, partnering progressive, contemporary and abstract art & photography works with prevalent social causes to bring awareness and fundraising to dedicated non-profit partners. Inspired by the color blue, this series evokes peace, free expression, emotional & spiritual healing and highlights works that emphasize and contribute these communal conversations. We proudly announce, the second installment of this series to take place on JAN 24, 2020, curated by Treat The World, Inc.
  • Submission Instructions

  • Chosen participating artists will be required to donate a minimum of 20% of proceeds to City Harvest, and have the option of selecting their exact percentage in the form below. There is also a 10% curatorial & processing fee deducted from the price of your art only once sold. By submitting your work into this online gallery and exhibition, you are agreeing to these terms. *All works will be sold via online gallery website. Select physical works will be on display day of the fundraiser and digitally via projector.   • City Harvest pioneered food rescue in 1982 and, this year, will collect 61 million pounds of excess food to help feed the more than 1.2 million New Yorkers struggling to put meals on their tables. Through relationships with farms, restaurants, grocers, and manufacturers, City Harvest collects nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste and delivers it free of charge to hundreds of soup kitchens, food pantries and other community food programs across the five boroughs.
